Soloman Tump - Noises & Jams
Did a noise jam tonight, with more rhythm and texture than stuff I have done before. Quite happy with how it turned out, will record more with this setup.

Nice from 4:00 onwards, but that high frequency shit after 2:30 is not cool at all, a real dick move, man. This sort of audio signal can cause actual physical harm to the ears. Place a warning if you do that.

hey, yeah I didn't actually realise how piercing that tone was until after I had stuck it on soundcloud.melkobukva wrote: ↑Fri Apr 06, 2018 2:13 pmNice from 4:00 onwards, but that high frequency shit after 2:30 is not cool at all, a real dick move, man. I've already edited that part with some filters and layered some field recordings over it.
Shouldn't cause any lasting damage now - will replace the track tonight and thanks for the (feedback)

My ears are pretty screwed in all fairness - i work in a steel fabrication shop and have 2 babies at home. I also listen to a lot of loud music - its not a good combination

No kidding. I had a concrete worker tell me non-stop machine noise all day is worth than any loud concert.
Much respect for your work though (and also loving noise).

Latest noise offering, recorded a couple of days ago. Happier with the outcome of this track, and hopefully nobody will bitch about the frequencies I have used.

Re: Soloman Tump - Rushey Lock
eye once purposely mixed the first 30 seconds to minute of 4 track tape noise demo
super quiet yet still somewhat audible
so the listener would naturally increase the volume
until...
until...
until....
BOOM
detonating/pushing/blasting the record signal at around 8+db
all the way overdiven as much as possible in the red
with aim of blowing speakers or busting eardrums
eye was an "audio terrorist" by own accord/ideology way back then

Re: Soloman Tump - Noises & Jams
Thank you. I don't do static noise. I can't keep still. But I try not to jerk from A to B in a glitchy fashion, aiming for a constant evolving sound. Still working on it but getting thereDonaldKrump wrote: ↑Sat Jul 21, 2018 12:21 pmway into textures, great first couple of second then evolution, it's great
