It shows a lot of assembly solutions that are well within the DIY realm. Tooling for the build was limited to metal snips (I'm overlooking using a slitter for the clean cuts at the metal to wood transition), a drill press, a table saw, and a small metal brake (though motivated individuals can get away with bending metal using a vise or clamps or sheer stubborn force and any available corner).
