The big irony is....
that it's so hard around here...
getting any real feedback on TRAX!!!
maybe because it's all noise?
let me take some time for listening more
Anjyu is like noise wall intro into pulsations
Kurumi is more of Anjyu.... liking the noise wash into bass pulse
really appreciating Mana
it's way more together/composed
hear/see hard panning on Mana yet it's almost a little too hard(R is way weak)
on karen the 1/16th note values are too fast
thus gets a little campy carnival melodic
then Aoi kicks in like a noisey tsunami
Risa is linear extension of Aoi(seems like you did bunch of one shot recording then hacked into trax)
wait a second.... hmmm... is there no real panning on these recordings???
make a auto panning pedal for yourself... you can look at the 4ms design... or can dig up ancient schematic for you from my PAIA "ping pong"
automated lfo based panning can be your best friend
watch the depth
Sai seems like another part of Aoi
Nagisa is good minimal droney
Asami has lfo like pulse
Seira seems like noisey evolution of Asami with a whip cracking/snapping in the background
Fuuka sounds fantastic with the thumpy bass & sliding glitchy overlays
Sarina is very soundtracky atmospheric then total eruption spewing forth
Umi for some reason reminds me of ww2 fighter airplane propeller engines
Airi reminds me of coin op video game STARGATE defender sounds for some reason
Ayanahas good long spacey drifting sound in the background
(which in my person opinion would have been more than enough(better vibe) by itself without chaotic sounds on top.... for an outro)
my other suggestions would be put tracks together for making longer trax
record multiple one shots.... into multitrack.... then experiment with more mixing... plus some hard panning
work on exploring/exploiting your stereo field
it's so easy cranking out noise
you can sculpt compositions in post
also without vox trax it becomes super hard getting "spirit sticking"
even if they are just simple vocal loops they can completely add new dimension
that sticks into the listeners psyche
you have full spectrum & full velocity full stereo field & full palette for using
rather than just noise wall
that's my personal input/feedback for Disfigured Robot Child This is Noise!
What's the total run time for that in one continuous track?
panning pedal for live use otherwise you can do all panning in post or y cable FX chains into mixer
Post PAiA 3712 Ping-Pong
2n2712 are abundant on ebay
2n3391 are going to be bitch.... let me find substitute
