sounds like fun times...
that video of him popped up when doing research whilst repairing/rebuilding my old modified SCI Pro-One
found that Ensoniq tutorial video also for experimenting with creating wavestation type atmospheric sounds
used to have something called the Covert ASR factory video manual
was one of my fav things for playing on loop in background
basically impossible finding online anymore
been waiting couple weeks on the torrent
thanks for the Siouxsie Sioux :8ball: :wtg:

no fucking clue how many times listened to bullhead way back in the day... thousands....................... one of my favs
got the "eggnog" 10" plus bunch of other "new releases"(he literally just got them) directly from "Buzzo's" hands at show in 91???
was an absolute "beyondEPIC" show in tiny club with about 20+ peeps
that moment in space&time is still massive influence after all these years

^one of the 7"s got from him that night...hmmm wonder what is on the other side & why is it worth so much anymore?:P

I've been buying CD's and records again during the past week, including some dubious, unkvlt, dime-a-dozen reissue of Deathcrush, which I am playing now:

I also got an original pressing of Martire's s/t CD EP, which I'm really pleased to have, and Every King a Bastard Son by Rozz Williams, which I've wanted to find a cheap copy of for a long time.

I ordered a couple of ridiculous Metal Enterprises CD's from Germany as well (Which ones? That's a secret!). As bad as the label is, it's still fascinating to me, and I consider many of their releases worth owning for the strange history and ludicrous artwork alone. I don't care about all the Böhse Onkelz and (frankly, lame) AOK releases, or really even the vast majority of very middling rock/metal/oi releases, but the "Metalploitation" stuff is essential, along with the shitty/worthless/retarded outsider* stuff like Thrash Queen and Killer Fox.

*I think "outsider" is really the only word there is to describe an album like Manslayer, which, had it been performed by heavily-accented, South American Sarcofaclones, would be considered a masterpiece, complete with with dumb die-hard editions being reissued on NWN or Hells Headbangers, and we all know this. Meanwhile, Killer Fox seemed like something out of an alternate universe where the plastic soundstage dreamworld of a series like Mama's Family takes the place of concrete reality.

I bought a handful of releases by The Grumpies as well, in order to fill a majority of the holes in my collection.

Roky Erickson died. What a punch in the gut.

I listened to this song a bunch of times the last time I thought robotripping would be a good idea (it wasn't). I was on a really big Roky "kick" this past winter and listened to him every day for a week or two.

While the 13th Floor Elevators never really spoke to me, a lot of his post-Elevators stuff was just awesome, especially during the 80's.
