Brain hacking / cognitive enchacement

Post by clemonz » Tue Apr 02, 2019 4:44 pm

1. It cannot increase our motivation
2. We cannot be ironic unless we mean (are motivated) to be understood
3. Any insight involves the use of irony
CONCLUSION: it doesn't make us more anymore likely to be insightful (from moment to moment)
ADDENDUM: what if it we become less insightful (and insight is necessary for intelligence) in the same way that we can (with food or electrodes) shape a rat's behavior by changing their motivation.

i dunno :D
