Ron Asheton created "Punk Rock" with his sound & style
They were "The Stooges"
until Iggy "hooked up" with Bowie
who got him signed on as a solo artist to MainMan Management (Tony Defries)
right before recording of Raw Power "IGGY & the stooges"
getting pimped out by record companies as solo act
record Industry executives took over "Iggy" as "product"
completely fucking over "the Stooges" Ron Ashton and his bro Scott
because they were way too extreme & ideologically dangerous
"unfit for public consumption"
so "The Stooges" were purposely destroyed by "Record Industry"
specifically Ron Asheton

"The Passenger" is a song by Iggy Pop and Ricky Gardiner, recorded and released by Iggy Pop on the Lust for Life album in 1977. It was also released as the B-side of the album's only single, "Success".

grew up on The Stooges & Black Sabbath Blasting
both of those guitar styles were burned into my brain
literally as some of my first memories
those were the vinyl records getting played
the was no such thing as "punk rock" yet
