DOD BUZZBOX

Post by moch » Fri Aug 17, 2018 3:18 am

Is the dod Buzzbox just a dod Grunge mixed with a rat and a MXR blue box?

Buy a Blue Box clone that has an added boost, the original can be kind of quiet compared to other pedals

assuming that exists. definitely does in kit form at least

Danelectro Black Licorace / Black Paisley are a good(for noise) octave+metal pedal too. Never used the Buzz Box so I don't know how they compare but they are definitely worth picking up cheap if you can

he means there's no rat involved, the buzz box is pretty much just the Blue Box circuit built into a DOD Grunge, as far as anyone can tell.

AFAIK Harman has given the axe to the DOD subset of Digitech, so I'd guess this sort of petition will fall on deaf ears.

what are these actually like? i listened to the some youtube guitarists, and sure it sounded pretty gnarly, but i didn't get the "that's a unique and exciting sound" from it, i think. what should one pay?

i like the idea i guess!
what was that about

Yeah, more of a badger that. I had one for a few years, sold it for about what I paid for it and haven't missed the thing. But that's me
