not as if eye don't literally have walls filled with modulars....
that rarely use recently
prefer being able to do something more than just randomly wiggling knobs one time during recording

randomly wiggling knobs
not true imho

there are things to anticipate in eurorack, hence learn... it's just that we're not talking technique, genuine ability, cos there's no right or wrong to how you play it!

not suggesting i'm saying something new. only that like jliat says the idea of talent is limited in noise outside such ideas as a) i like you and b) you like me.

that statement is obviously not true...
same as his quote from merzbow who has talent & obsessive compulsive creative drive
Also Known As Willpower & Sustain
yet don't tell Jliat or have to get into the conversation that Picaso obviously had talent
that's his excuse line
heard it before
bleh
next...

nah.

talent needs rules (to exploit not to do) unless you're saying that it's the essence or meaning of something we all intuitively get, like the categorical imperative of sounds

it's not a philosophical debate
sound has rules
especially when doing audio engineering/production
see the posted Yamaha Sound Reinforcement Handbook
you can choose to not follow any of those rule
you can be willfully ignorant of them
you can fuck off and never learn them
maybe you can't even comprehend the basic or advanced rules of sound
not my problem

OK well oif we're talking about the engineers then that's different IMVHO

not being a "philosopher" here... jliat is essentially right that making noise is not a talent. it can be a skill, in the same way as uttering the right phonemes to make speech

that's his "excuse"
because he lacks any type of talent in sound beyond being bullshit artiste
his entire identity and existential reality is founded on such rhetoric
~shrug~
because he can fool people stupid with lines like that
that's called a "Shtick"
his talent is in conceptualism, computer programming, & philosophical debate/argument
so he heavily relies on those in his creative works & promoting his identity
you haven't noticed that yet???

jliat is a seer, imho.

it may make no difference to yee

From Middle English seen, from Old English sēon (“to see, look, behold, perceive, observe, discern, understand, know”), from Proto-Germanic *sehwaną (“to see”), from Proto-Indo-European *sekʷ- (“to see, notice”). Cognate with West Frisian sjen (“to see”), Dutch zien (“to see”), Low German sehn, German sehen (“to see”), Danish, Swedish and Norwegian Bokmål se (“to see”), Norwegian Nynorsk sjå (“to see”), and more distantly with Latin sīgnum (“sign, token”), Albanian shih (“look at, see”) imperative of shoh (“to see”).
nothing to do with "excuses"

Hear is the other half of that tape using Melkobukva's source he provided
it's sort of CRUNCHY/LOUD
http://www.n01ze.com/Muzak/Trax/melkobukvaEXP1Ax.mp3
hmmm done with that noise for now
you get what eye am doing with stages of gain/compressors/FX?
look at the waveform....
it is solid sludgefest
yet has definite sonic definition when listening
thanks for the inspiration

had the effects rack on again when doing that track
put it all into bypass
lost some low end rumble
doesn't really matter
mixing it wearing 1980s Austrian military winter/cold weather hat
with the flaps down
whatever
using theory anyways
sounds as eye expected when put hat flaps up
saves my hearing when mixing noise blasting
:P
