Once you become familiar with the individual and combined sounds of your componets, noise can be very musical even if it is of the harshest variety. Sure but the potential for "music" is there even if you are not trying... or at least if you look at the definition of what constitutes melody in the ...

I know this is an old thread but I have to weigh in on this one. :D

I picked Masonna because while I do enjoy Merzbow (early to mid period stuff) I can play pretty much anything that Masonna does and enjoy it. The lone exception would be Inner Mind Mystique. That CD was a HUGE letdown in my opinion.
