The first noise track I heard was "Bedsheet" on Brutal Truth's "Perpetual Conversion" EP. A few years later I checked out the Relapse Records catalog because I was sick of dealing with clueless fucks in the local record shops who had no idea that metal went beyond Metallica and I found out about Mas...

I bought an Ibanez DE7 delay pedal a few months ago and it turned out to be a really good pedal and it was cheap so that was a plus. It is one of the few cheaper delay pedals I have checked out that can pull off the "spaceship taking off" noise without turning into that awful digital glitching sound...

$3500?? You got to be fucking kidding me. There is no way anyone is going to pay that much for that pedal. If they DO pay that much for it then the are a fucking dunce. I could come up with an amazing set up for the price of that one pedal.

I always play from start to finish and record that as is. Editing bits and pieces just isn't my type of thing. I do enjoy listening to other people chop up stuff, though.

i never was much of a Type O fan but I did see them live at Bogarts back in 2003 and they were pretty good. I'm pretty much 'meh' about Pete's passing, really. Callous? nah.

I don't have a MySpace page (yet). I bought a handheld digital recorder a few weeks ago but I haven't got around to recording anything yet. When I get around to doing this I will think up a name for the project. http://i895.photobucket.com/albums/ac158/napalmdeathfan13591/Random%20Pics%20n%20Stuff/i...

I picked The Haters because they were one of the first noise bands that I got into thanks to the godly "Noise War" double cassette compilation that I purchased back in May of 1995. I really miss that comp though since it was destroyed in a fire back in 2006. :(

Well, my hat is off to those of you who can make your own electronics. I am completely mechanically incompetent so I just buy mass produced stuff. I stick with the low, low-mid price scale since I am poor, but I can get some good sounds out of what I have so I am happy. (although swapping out a coup...

Re: reply

Once you become familiar with the individual and combined sounds of your componets, noise can be very musical even if it is of the harshest variety. Sure but the potential for "music" is there even if you are not trying... or at least if you look at the definition of what constitutes melody in the ...
