Re: 4 operator FM noise synth with demo

Holy shit. That thing is perfect in every. The preset manager with the crossfader is also perfect. The only thing it doesn't have is 16 input jacks for a FM VCA matrix but it makes up for it with the preset crossfade CV input. All it needs now is a planar joystick on the side for 4 way crossfade of ...

4 operator FM noise synth with demo

I made a FM drone synth in reaktor. I put the sine outs from 4 oscillators into a 4x4 matrix mixer then that goes to the 4 FM inputs. it did have some silent parts where it was glitched out and locking up but I just edited out the silence. I did this recording in one take as soon as I got it all wor...

Re: Your Setups

never tried it. reminds me of people using the roland Vsynth. wavestation is $2000 now. I could just get a eurorack setup or those drone boxes I posted. I have the reaktor demo. I have max4live and ableton. the point of the drone boxes and or eurorack is to shrink it down, tweak the user interface s...

Re: Matrix Mixer

as promised. 12HP inverting and non-inverting outputs. AC coupled inputs (selectable to DC). DC coupled outputs always. schematic http://www.eatyourguitar.com/matrixmixer.gif http://www.eatyourguitar.com/matrixpcb.gif I just have to break it down into two separate PCB. I need standoffs, socketed hea...

Re: Matrix Mixer

yeah I see it now but it says sold out. I could just do my own thing. I will make it 12HP instead. I will have inverting and non-inverting outputs for each channel. ac coupling can be on jumper settings on the back of the module. personally I don't need a master gain for each output but I guess if y...

Re: using the soundforge demo for harshnoise

Here are 4 pieces of white noise made with Goldwave. Quick and not normalised.. An original and 3 time stretched. Can you tell me which is which and TS by how much by listening? http://www.jliat.com/ts1.mp3 http://www.jliat.com/ts2.mp3 http://www.jliat.com/ts3.mp3 http://www.jliat.com/ts4.mp3 And h...

Re: using the soundforge demo for harshnoise

I didn't post time stretched noise. I posted synths running through delay and distortion. I have nothing against time stretched noise. if you want my honest opinion about that clemon track, I think he tried to preserve pitch when he slowed it down but either the software was too old or he didn't use...

Re: Matrix Mixer

I would rather have switches so that the attenuators all go to zero if and when I want that. I am seriously considering releasing a eurorack module for this. I don't like the AI synthesis or the york modular. the york is better but I need it smaller with more features. I also see that york released ...

Re: using the soundforge demo for harshnoise

timestretched guitar-feedback-ish noise you can't time-stretch noise :D true for white noise but you would need a perfect white noise source. you can definitely time stretch anything that is not %100 lab grade white noise. also, true white noise requires infinite bandwidth, infinite headroom, infin...

using the soundforge demo for harshnoise

I started with an evolving drone from the 4 operator FM synth in sound forge. then I put it through a delay, a guitar amp, an expander, a distortion.

Re: uBurst-Mutable-Instruments-Micro-Clouds-Clone

if you want a jacks only modular synthesizer that can do pretty much anything it is theoretically possible although it would be a large system to do basic things. I could build it.
