Re: Audio Electronic Circuit Schematics

multiple feedback is the noise cancelling kind. it translates to silence below 20Hz and silence above 20KHz. it is definitely not as cool as it sounds. I think the best description of this circuit is that it has a resonant frequency exactly like a guitar amp with a microphone feeding back into the g...

Re: KillSwitch

also, you can purchase an ON-OFF-(ON) switch that is spring loaded momentary on one side and hands free latching on the other side for a total of 3 positions. you can set it up for momentary mute or momentary audio. one way is in series and the other way is to ground the tip of the guitar cable to t...

Re: 1982 Electronic Music Circuits

I want to thank you for posting this. but I also want to share my honest opinion. a lot of improvement to these circuits has happened in 37 years. the silicon of a new curtis is not the same as the old curtis. the better methods for stability and linearity in these VCO circuits simply was not yet in...

Re: Post expensive gear you want to buy

the plasma guitar pedal is not running the audio through the plasma tube. the whole thing is a joke, it is a noise source, some envelope followers, VCA's, mixers, noise gates etc... the noise is not in series, it is in parallel. it is not a function of your input. it is just along for the ride. poin...

Re: wtb: mungo g0

do you already have other mungo modules? the whole point of these was the zoom feature and the controller that goes with it. if you just want one module then you can get that functionality in something newer from another manufacturer. this module is not really relevant anymore.

Re: Audio Electronic Circuit Schematics

the guy in the video explaining the circuit has no idea how it works and is scared to post the math because he thinks that math is a copyright issue. to some extent it is true you cannot totally plagiarize a magazine article but this is public domain science taught in colleges everywhere. https://ww...

Re: what gear does RXAXPXE use?

I'm not %100 sure but if I had to guess what off the shelf product would be a big part of this rig I would probably say 4ms bend matrix + pedals. https://4mscompany.com/bendpedal.php that doesn't tell me what he is using to clock it though. it could be some LFO's maybe with some sync retrigger thing...

Re: So Adrian's trashed gear now!

I been painting abstract. for me to be happy with noise music, I really need a modular synth. I don't work at a music studio anymore so I can't just scrape mics on cymbals and do electric bass feedback whenever I want. I sold off %100 of my gear and I purchased a broken guitar. not much right now so...

Re: Fucking cage nuts: Please help me

my point was that the square cavity in the rail is probably the standard that most racks are on. the 3 different threads are all valid options as long as you buy the nuts and screws at the same time from the same supplier. the only thing you really risk is that you have some weirdo size square hole ...

Re: noise on a budget

if you have $200 to spend on noise music gear then you are starting with way too much money. you need to start with $2 like everyone else. then when you finally have a good day asking people for spare change you can buy better gear for like $10 maybe. members sell all kinds of stuff here. you can pr...
