I have the micro. It's not the most versatile thing, but it's great at what it does. Very loud, too. Good stuff. Been running it through a Trogotronic 77 for maximum awesome.

Yep. I guess that's also part of the problem; depending on what I use after it, the French Toast sometimes disappears a bit into the mix, which makes an LED doubly required.

I don't really mind the lack of bass--I always run it into something else anyway--but it's sometimes annoying to not be able to check if it's on with a glance. Sometimes a bit of a deal-breaker, but I guess you can learn to live with it.

Good in a feedback loop, too.
