Gazpacho

Post by amishrobots » Sun Jan 08, 2017 2:05 am

Ingrediments:
a bunch of tomatoes
most of a cucumber
like, half a green pepper
a quarter of an onion (I used a white onion)

garlic powder
more garlic powder
some minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon of huy fong foods company chili garlic sauce (you'll find it near the sri racha, its the same stuff but chunkier)
I fucking love garlic
two pinches of basil flakes
some oregano
some freshly ground black pepper
some more oregano
a bit more black pepper
another tomato
about one teaspoon of freshly ground Himilayan pink salt. (I can't imagine why "freshly ground makes any difference here, but it's what I had)

a little splash of balsamic vinegar
no fucking cedar chips whatsodamnever!
a dash of Tapatio hot sauce
A girlfriend who just put five holes in her face

OPTIONAL:
fresh cilantro (fucking lousy walmart didn't have any)
fresh italian parsley (walmart did have this, which kinda looks like cilantro, but isn't, so I said "fuck you, walmart, I'm not buying your damn parsley!")
a bit of lime juice? nah fuck it.
some olive oil? I feel compelled to consider it, but not to actually add it, because it is probably a bad idea.
Fresh spinach? no, fuck that, leave this and the previous to Popeye, who probably doesn't know shit about gazpacho
Corn? because fuck you, why not? well, maybe because it's stupid.
roasted red peppers? well, sure, maybe, fuck if I know.

Destructions:
Add all ingredients to taste, in a blender. Now turn it on, frappe that shit. toast some crusty bread for dipping. Watch a few episodes of Red Dwarf, dream about Fiji, enjoy.

oh wait, don't put your girlfriend in the blender; she's just a garnish.

Good to know: most blenders need wattage <800W, so they probably work also in my room. Problem: I don't want to clean a blender. What if I cut everything finely?

cleaning a blender is easy, just fill it with water and turn it on.

Tequila is thematic, but I also believe vodka is a good idea.
