The flagship of occult-retro-psych-roadburn-rise-above-stuff which I generally like quite a lot, but never could get into them for some reason.

Preferred alternatives are...

like some Sabbath Assembly even though they are over the top DeGrimston Church of the Final Process influenced...
been there done that not into the jesus/satan paradigm apocalyptic pantheon
read the original pressing of "EXIT" was sort of like "Blah" boring
personally given to old mentor by actual Process members in the late 60s
it's all the rage again now again in some other of my circles
as the uber cool retro 60s/70s cult
you get they worked as E auditors for church of scientology originally?
whatever

Well, to Me EW is more... Pulp"ish"...? Less serious occult and more stoned d00d watching 70's horror occult. And it is heavier/sludgier.

Sabbath Assembly's "Restored to One" is a mesmerizing album. First time I got it, played the whole thing through three times in a row. The previous time a record did something like that to me was in the early 90s.

Well, none of the stuff I posted is anywhere as doomy as EW.
Always liked Captain Beyond more than Pentagram :)

They are cool. But, Liz's old band, 13 was pretty rad.
