There will also be a recording of it in theory in the collection of all possible CDs.

I like this idea...

In one sense any performance once over is lost, recordings being no different, any recording as an event when played will likewise be different. And yet any event is just that and the world after this event will always be different in some way as a result of this event. So the world / universe will effectively be a recording of it.

But the real kicker is “intent”.

One can 'intend' the impossible....

So one can intend to 'create a work with the specific intent to destroy it.'

I intend to do so tomorrow.

"And so the slow realization was confirmed, so called primitive peoples could just get on and make stuff we now call art, without particular recourse to a complex system of galleries, collectors, curators, academic and commercial institutions, capital and expertise. If the term 'Art' was now secured and verified by such institutions and frameworks it was one that I was only minimally engaged. There grew my engagement into a hostility, and my 'practice' became no longer that of music or art but of 'I make stuff that others might call art' "

The MKULTRA Recorder...

Two possible designs.

1. Move the erase head after the record head (or replace the play head on a 3 head machine).

2. Reverse the reel motors and tape transport direction so the tape moves right to left.. (I call this 'The Arabic' method)

Technical question for tech guys, 1 is relatively simple - what about 2? I think 2 is 'better' as it reverses the western convention for writing, both texts and recording on tape...
