Correct.

Ocean Acidification
CO2 + CO32- + H2O = 2HCO3

Anthropogenic CO2 acts as a pollutant due to its impacts on global warming and climate change, but it also has a major effect on marine ecosystems through ocean acidification.
CO2 is pollution Fireman.

Quite simply the only sense you have made.
REALLY? NOT FAMILIAR WITH TRICLOSAN? MIGHT WANT TO READ UP. READ CAREFULLY.
THE SCIENCE IS SETTLED, THE QUANTITY OF TRICLOSAN IN THE ENVIRONMENT IS
ALREADY ABOVE THE THRESHOLD FOR KILLING ALL LIFE ON THIS PLANET
If it is above the threshold for killing all life on this planet, then why is there still all this life on this planet?

total bullshit, prove it.

i wont bother waiting because the marine biologists cant prove it either

ocean acidification cannot be due to CO2, concentrations are historically low and mans contribution is insignificant, not to mention, you could dissolve the entire atmosphere in the ocean and it would be fine, the volumetric change would be infinitesimal, the chemical change negligible, sewage and waste water from ships has had a greater impact, and that is still minimal

these things take time, but if you follow the news, you will begin to realize that the ocean is almost dead, mass beachings regularly, biodiversity irreparably lost, giant plastic blob, missle tests, bikini, gee the list could go on, starfish wasting, fishery collapse(mcdonalds)

so it looks like, and i am just guessing here, that we will see the end within our life, assuming you will be here for another 10 or 20, of course the ocean is pretty resilient and could fight on for a while longer, buut, we seem to be ramping up our march toward death, not abating it, so maybe even sooner

anyway, the sun will go into dark discharge mode within a couple hundred years which will be the end for sure, this is because we are drifting away from our Birkeland current filament that powers the sun, nothing rotating this close to dark space lasts long, we are being cast into the abyss, that is why we must move into the light(a planet closer to the galactic center), but for obvious reasons we cannot just migrate our mass of ignorance, you must purify and emmigrate individually to the promised land, good luck

Before the industrial era the average pH at the ocean surface was about 8.2, today it is about 8.1.

The pH scale is logarithmic. The .1 change of pH is a 30% increase in acidity.

I have a firm understanding of basic chemistry.

Didn't realize you were so invested in tinfoil hat theories that you get butthurt when they are challenged. You can go now.

At least Fire's tinfoil hats have some substance to them, your posts are completely without merit or creativity.
