I only practice anarchy for fun, or as a means to an end.

also, I refuse to charge money for music, though if noone buys more of my pedals soon, I may have to find some way to bend my principles, in the interest of greed, and rent paying.

I have to figure most of us are unhappy.

When I am with friends for week-long stretches, I never think about watching TV or going online (or very rarely do I think about the later, at least, and only because I've gotten to where most of my friends are online and I wanna see what's up with them too  ).

Humans are social creatures. I think "addiction" to the net is inevitable when we're alone [meaning socially isolated.] and left to our own devices.

I'm writing a time-stretch program in Java.

I can continue with this - as the .wav mixing program for RJM is nearly ready for
Beta testing! (.Net only though)

I AM actually a brilliant thinker, with awesome futuristic ideas, and nothing you could ever say is going to change that, you are completely and totally wrong. In fact you are so utterly wrong, that it would be totally beneath me to provide any logical reasoning to prove you wrong; you are simply not worth my time to debate with, So instead, I will spend as much time as I possibly can, over the course of a 26 page thread, attempting to insult and mock you for your stupidity. This is the best, and most productive use of my time as an intelligent person of who is highly qualified to discuss these matters, while I am in college. Unless you should happen to use a bad word of course, in which case I will entirely ignore the context in which that word was used, focus entirely on that single word instead, call you a bigot, and threaten to be done offering you my highly elightened insults, only to come back tomorrow with more of exactly the same sort of insults.

At no point during this process will I bother to actually read your idiotic ideas, because that would waste my terribly valuable time, which is far better spent insulting you, than actually trying to understand anything you say to me.
Sorry , guess I should have put <mock> tags around that.

I have to agree that this hypothesis seems to have some merit. Although lately I've actually been pretty happy for the most part, thanks to my beautiful girlfriend. So I basically have no excuse, beyond my admittedly inflated ego.

truth be told, most of the times I've stayed with my friends, they lived in a filthy punk haus with no cable/internet, and I did walk to the library when I would get super-bored if I was alone or something.

If they had computers, I'd prolly use them. But I really don't miss stuff like that when I am around friends, still... It's just, I mean, if you HAVE a computer, chances are you're going to end up using it some anyway.

Well, I've been aggressive lately, too. FAP pissed me off hardcore and now I'm being snippy with errbady because of it.

I get super-vindictive and spiteful and all around mean once I've finally reached my limit with someone, as I mentioned somewhere in Misc. earlier.

If I regret anything, it is that I've failed to maintain my virtuous capacity for putting up with (and even being nice to) bratty man-children like FAP.

Like I said though, he's earned it, so he can go fuck himself.
