DIY anything! Effects, instruments, sex devices, nuclear warheads, and so on.

Don't wanna embarrass mahself.

Though I might take some pictures of DIY gear soon... not that any of my DIY shit is particularly amazing, or even aesthetically pleasing!

Half of my "DIY" stuff would be a bit to revealing (no pun intended). Might snap a couple pics later on but, hey, when you're a noise n00b like me its best to keep all the secrets you can :P

Output of amp into BOSS Chorus -> BOSS Bass synth, Boss Flanger, Line6-DL4, Moogerfooger Ring mod -> Ibanez Tone Lok Delay -> BOSS Bass Overdrive, back into amplifier?

If so, I've been doing this shit way too long. Not the hardest shit to identify, but still.

close! that's a Limiter, not a chorus.

best part is that those were all default colors in MS Paint, aside from the trim on the Moogerfooger and the trim on my doorframe.

Various levels of DIY. Figure I should get my ish in here before Croch comes along and renders us all irrelevant...

Two-armed turntable (not quite complete...)
Image

The Electric Loom
Image

Rebuild of Sequential Circuits Pro-One into fancy wooden case (case made by Synthwood)
Image

Retolexing of bass cabs to match vintage head (just for looks, mmmkay?)
Image

Chop of broken up 73-key Rhodes electric piano to Rhodes pianobass (photo taken while in progress, obviously)
Image

Autoharp modified to play EMajor (was an Eminor button)
Image

Juno 106 with changed voice chips, replaced sliders, etc etc
Image

Thingamagoop 2 - built from a kit
Image

Washing machine lid, turned into a cymbal.
Image

Trash drum kit (also includes a floor tom, which is on loan atm - all drums rebuilt by me on the cheap - a kit I can knock over and kick around!)
Image

Line selector switch (with -10dB pad on one side)
Image

Buchla 100 series synth - panels not built by me, but all rebuilt by me where necessary, rebuilt and made into a system w/ power supply by me
Image

Toy piano with rebuilt action and piezo pickup
Image

Ridiculous octaves bass instrument (currently being rebuilt... those unshielded wires don't sound so hot...)
Image

Chipmunks toy rehoused in an Almonds can. Sounds as stupid as you think it does. :)
Image

Tape head attached to a block of wood, with cardboard tube with audio tape taped to it.
Image

Game Boy with bypassable speed adjustment and line level audio
Image

edit: How could I forget the Rat Shack? rehouse of a Realistic reverb unit into a reverb/overdrive pedal! (image is way too big to put in the thread)
