The death of guitars

LULZ

“Most of what’s really selling today is rap and hip hop,” said George Gruhn, owner of the Gruhn Guitars shop in Nashville. “That’s outpacing other forms of music and they don’t use a lot of recognizable musical instruments.”

Nah, Rock is still the most popular genre. Moreover, there's Country, also guitar based, and the two genres combined account for 30% of total sales. And then there's Controlled Bleeding and Skullflower. Guitars will be fine.

Guitar Center was given the pump and dump treatment a long ass time ago. It's remarkable they've lasted this long.

It's been awhile since I was so desperate for any audio product that I had to go to a brick and mortar to get one. :wall:

Guitar Center was real helpful if you were on the road, most towns, corners of states, have one.
