My handmade noise machine!

Post by AlmightyHades » Fri Mar 31, 2017 3:11 am

Hey guys, I made this Noise machine for less than ten dollars! It's the cheapest gear you can have I think :-D

Not cheaper than cans and rocks and sticks and trash.

Why use an Arduino? You can make a noise with a couple of transistors and some passives.
I think trying to quantify music is one of the biggest wastes of time in the world, like discussing your favourite colour or deity or pizza topping. People should realise that and get on with their life.

true and Arduino's usually cost more than $10 brand new so where did you get that deal?

A passive component is a module that does not require energy to operate, except for the available alternating current (AC) circuit that it is connected to. A passive module is not capable of power gain and is not a source of energy. A typical passive component would be a chassis, inductor, resistor, transformer, or capacitor.

Probably the easiest tool I had in my lab stuff. But, I'll try transistors.

Pet peeve of an older dude, why is everyone using Arduinos for stuff that can be done with a regular circuit.

But at least your building stuff, and the Arduino can be used, not just as an oscillator, but to do FX and stuff, so you could expand it.

I assume if you are learning arduino you gotta start somewhere?
