First run of ten is now spoken for.

Here's some porn I was promising:

(future units will see the output jacks, be they single or multiple, a little lower on the chassis - this particular install ran into near interference fit problems between signal handling and a potentiometer)

I realize the blue board has zero interest in this shit, but since I'm in cut & paste mode anyway:

No more single sided conversation, just pics.

Thanks! Yeah, the boards pictured are all discrete transistor. The Crustacean and Gumball (based on the Crustacean crackle circuit) are the only circuits currently with an IC, and that's a single 741 doing comparator duty.. so it's not really carrying audio. Plus, some of the date codes shipped are older than I am.

As far as everything else, I'm avoiding integrated so far as possible, but I do have a healthy stock of ICs and I'm sure I'll sneak some into future designs, I'll endeavour to do it in a low impact manner though.

Once I'm caught up with outstanding obligations and can actually retain some built units they'll wind up in my reverb.com storefront and/or on etsy.

Fair enough, hahaha. There are a few pockets of conversation brewing elsewhere, I find it funny that it took me writing this one off to trigger discussion.

I guess I'm also guilty of not spending much time around these parts anymore, so, interloper and all that.

Put in a eurorack format and I might be interested!

Modular is down the road a bit yet. I feel it silly to jam a single pole power circuit into a format that natively supports bipolar (in case anyone hasn't been paying attention, I like voltage), so some tweaks to the circuit are in order to fully exploit the more capable foundation.

Honestly, I'm not going to worry about that until I have a serviceable VCA (etc.) circuit so I can support the point of modular in the first place.

Actual panel is secondary in my opinion, I prefer the taller formats so it'll be offered in both short & stout or tall & slender, but I assure you, it is on the horizon and I'm fully aware that not coming out with a euro package would be shooting myself in the foot.

Heh.. I was half joking but I did consider that you'd probably need to supply your own power instead of from the euro power bus.. especially if the goal was to just rehouse it.

Although I will say I big reason why I'd buy yours is for your handmade enclosure. :hail:

Speaking of eurorack modules that need their own power I've bee using the trogotronic m/676 alot and what I like about it is that I can run CV and external signals through it to get really nasty modulations/synthesis that completely changes the sound. It's not exactly predictable which is not a bad thing. I'd love more modules like this.
