that schematic looks complex to my little brain, my knowledge stops at springboards and contact mics i guess

edit: 'utter waste of bandwidth' will hopefully be my next project name

That noise source has six discrete parts. They even provided a layout.

That's about as simple as you can get without just making cables.

I like my noise with a little more strength behind it though.

More like a curling iron than a straightener .. the first thing I tell people when showing them how to solder is that if you drop the iron just let it fall.. resist the urge to try to grab it
