what sort of pots do you prefer linear or logarithmic ones for a matrix mixer?
it's funny that you should mention that, because my girlfriend smokes pot. did I mention that I have a girlfriend? because I do, and she smokes marijuana.

But I would just use a linear pot, with a big ass value.

like my girlfriend, who smokes pot.

Not until she starts decomposing?
I think trying to quantify music is one of the biggest wastes of time in the world, like discussing your favourite colour or deity or pizza topping. People should realise that and get on with their life.

You would have, if you ever had to sit beside a cramped smelly stage running monitors for some deaf buggers who want the monitors so loud they feedback

I think Midas makes one, and Hear and Allen and Heath.

They're not much used outside live sound afaik, and digital is replacing these many knobbed wonders with knobless racks.

Usually these are feed thru, ie. you connect all 12/16/24 channels to one of these, and they feed thru the signal to 12/16/24 outputs you connect to the FOH mixer.
