Noise Machines, Devices & Makers.

Simple concept that shall no doubt derail into the usual stupidity.

I don't know what half those things are.

I think the fourth one down is some sort of carpentry tool? If so, the flat surface & metal on metal might be exactly the kind of thing I've been looking for.

I absolutely adore the first pic. I want that shit! (well, except for the mixer. I don't need that.)

Loosely chronological, from oldest to most recent.

Forget if I ever mentioned it is good to see you landed an AG-9, my IG-72 is in my to-do pile.

Guess I can dig up my 60hz generator for this:

Hey Repeater, Can you build something like what is in that first pic of the very first post?

A doom generation machine that stands well on it's own. An ODB-3 is the essential starting point for any sundry processing that might follow. The makings of a seriously good time here.

Please allow me to further shit on the sanctity of this thread to point out that if you want an actual tubed oscillator, it's going to be a hell of a lot cheaper to just buy a Heathkit IG-72 or AG-9 at auction and recap it than to scratch build one. I can't say about the Lafayette, as they are not nearly as common.

Now returning to the previously scheduled content:

Pics are ok, but some info (and maybe... sounds?) would be awesome.

Then we can all learn a little more.

Agreed 100%: MKULTRA's been posting these same pics for the past three or four years (as long as I've been here at any rate) and not once has he posted anything he's made in terms of actual audio content.

I guess he only means to inspire creativity with the pics i.e. samples would ruin his intent, but come on, I've posted pics of cardboard records and modified voice changers before and still man'ed up enough to post the shitty results of those experiments.

I'm dying to hear... any of these

here is a video one, not very noisy though, more drone. an LFO box and VCO box and mixer I made, and then the drum machine is run through a self oscillating fuzz. Actually not sure if these even count as noise machines as they are pretty common synth parts, but whatever.

Hey repeater, how did that TV/tape combo work out? Do the two connect in any interesting way i.e. does the recorder capture audio off of the tv or something else?
