The Worls Longest Noisetrack

Post by lisbeth og bent » Wed Mar 15, 2006 12:19 pm

yes, the boys over at Legion Sudan are gonna try the impossible, to make a noise track that lasts a week, right now we are 3 artists working on it, namely: Solypsis; of the V/vm camp, Nxfxtxex; founder of Legion Sudan, and DEADHORSEYFUCK; a newcomer to this mess we call noise. but this is not at all enough. so if you are interested in being a part of this grand endeavour, contact me at lisbent(at)gmail(dot)com and i shall give further info on the hows and whys.

plans are for now that it will be released as the mother of all mp3s (in a low bandwith) but we may investigate other choices of media, more info on that later.

as far as where submissions go just mail them to the mail addres earlier in the post, or, if mp3s are not to your liking at all, send some stuff to this address:

there will be some ellaborate editing done, perhaps by alot of different people, so it wont be just a big fucking comp.more info on this later as well.

this i'll be AWESOME!!

guinnes book of records, here we come!!

if you consider Cage noise...

I read about some church in Europe that's playing a John Cage composition that will take 800 years (or something like that) to complete.

it will have to run for over 10 years. I think it was called the Theater Of Light And Sound or something like that was actually just some dudes apartment in NYC that had oscillators running doing phase shifting for over a decade until the building was destroyed.

Yes i've still got the case with all the disks. As for 'availability' not sure, the cost of shipping outside of the UK is fairly expensive and i'm also not sure how much i'd sell it for...
