thanks for the comments. I frequently forget my user and spend a lot of time away from here and forgot I posted here. Glad to see the guitar hate is still rampant.

This was created across a bunch of cheap gear and pedals, but mostly just uses a cathedral Reverb, Parametric EQ, a Yamaha keyboard i found for $2 from 1980s, Kaossilator and Kaospad that I got for cheap when travelling Japan and a cheap AM/FM radio.

I didn't really set out to make this, just plugged everything in and this is what came out after a month or so.

Sure if the only noise that is "real noise" is HNW :wall:
or done without guitars
I just don't like guitars at noise shows.. doesn't really have anything to do with is it noise or not

what percentage of noise shows have guitars from your experience. I don't go to many and am extremely disconnected with my local noise scene here in Melbourne. I saw one guitar in a week of going to noise shows in Tokyo, and have seen A Bass used here in Melbourne.

They occur far less in California than they do in Florida.

I wanted a Guitar weather based pun here but I had nothing. Guitar-ale forced winds.

Never try this hard, I'm sorry.

I liked it but to my ears it was ambient music in the vein of Seefeel.

I didn't know there was a noise blanket. Maybe an umbrella. Perhaps, an acoustic hood.

everything fall under noise blanket-there should be no rules.. if you plan to make noise and some melody comes out it is still noise.. but whatever it is-its a great album!

rule #1 There are NO Rules
critics are always locked in the realm of "ipso facto"
used guitar in "noise" decades ago
can do it now if feel like it and/or inspired for such element
just because someone says you "can't"
make whatever you feel like creating
be thee channel
BTW really appreciate the zen like ambience on this page
https://mountkuma.bandcamp.com/album/ta ... rable-heat
makes me want hearing your other trax
good sound sculpture
BTW can just plug in and record
other people will debate if it's "noise"
even though for me it is clearly printed on the patchbay
"white noise" & "pink noise" 1/4" outputs

One could make an argument, and I guess I am, that one definition of noise could be 'unwanted' sound. And that as a criteria the noise maker should not 'like' their noise. This is a reversal of 'music' in which the sounds are desired, thought to be good and significant. One could push the argument further and say if noise ever was this, then it has since become no different to sounds made for expression and pleasure, namely 'music'. And rather it is no longer noise if it is open to judgement and criticism, rather than ignorant of it.

suspect most people in "noise scene"
will turn off this "song" instantly
soon as hear guitar
your loss not mine :P
there are 4 versions of this single with different covers
my first version of this 7" with "Vanian" cover red vinyl
was purposely broken into pieces
wayback in the day
in front of then recent XGF
and thrown at her
upon spinning it soon as bitch walked in club
What's the A side track?
"comp free flowing booze fueled drama while working in clubs"

Such as is this video funny or not
& hypothetically if eye made noise generator
spewing the same type of sound out for days months years
via webpage with random title generator
upon whatever listener
calling the concept "body checking dolphin vomits vomir on unsuspecting humanity"
since it would auto create HNW records
merely waiting for someone pressing record
would that be considered comedy or terrorism or neither or both or genius
or merely typical Nihilistic Sado Sarcastic Absurdism?
obviously that concept would make a better start up virus :P
