Talk about noise music. Reviews, rants, whatever.

I made one from a plastic project boxes and it takes so much shaking to get noisy. I'm not complaining, it's a good jerk out, I mean work out... Also, I have an actual question: how do I change my feedback? it always sounds the same. Pitch shifting and distorting don't change it the way I thought it would. What effect or part of your rig most effects the fb tone? I pitch shift it and it just sounds like repetitive and annoying in not a good way
here's a raw recording:
I have a Chupa Chups tin that I usually stick some marbles into. It has funky pop art outside and makes a noise like hell. I also have several aslatua. How are you generating your feedback? Are you talking about mixer feedback loops, or the kind of feedback you get from pointing a mic into an amp and cranking the volume?
I wouldnt've thought you'd get much tonal change from a mic/ amp set up. But that's only speaking from my admittedly limited experience. I could be wrong. This has given me an idea for something to try though. I was going to say you could record the feedback and then apply fx to the recording in post production. That set me off thinking if that could be done live. I remembered that can get feedback from plugging a mic into my keyboard and I can feed a line out from that to record it. So, I was wondering what might happen if I ran the line out through some pedals and into a mixer and some speakers. Or possibly, a line out from the mixer to record on my computer. I'll have to give it a try some time.
