New Experimental Artist in Town

Post by KMB6167 » Wed Jun 07, 2017 8:55 pm

Greetings all you noise artists everywhere. The name's Kristopher Burns, but you can call me Kris for short. I am 21 years old and I am in college. I live in a boring city of Columbus, Ohio. I was introduced to experimental noise in 9th grade when my music teacher gave me this dvd called "Touch the Sound" by the Scottish percussionist Evelyn Glennie. I also watched some other experimental artists on youtube like Fred Frith, Weasel Walter, Tatsuya Yoshida, Keiji Haino, Nels Cline etc. etc. I started incorporating these ideas into the way I make my experimental music. As of right now, I have 3 experimental albums done with guitar and bass, and one drone album done with Fruity Loops Studio.

Here are some of my pieces. Enjoy!
