Plague in Perspective

Post by emonster » Mon Aug 01, 2016 12:18 pm

Rather than start a new thread every time I have a new release, I'll just start this thread. It seems to be the norm here and keeps the board from basically looking like an ebay page.

Plague in Perspective 008
T.Mikawa and Emerson Murray
Thanks, in part, to the Noiseguide Forum, I've started recording again. I reached out to some old friends and have begun some new collaborations.
Proud to release this CD collaboration this week.
You can go here for a little more info: http://www.emersonmurray.com/noise
If you would like me to shut up and just go order the CD, you can go here: http://www.emersonmurray.com/order
Please help spread the word. First time releasing a CD for me. Cassettes have always been my cup of tea.
If you have any questions or if there is information I should put up on the site, please let me know.
Thanks.

Plague in Perspective 009
Scream For Your Killer
Richard Ramirez and Emerson Murray with a theme by Matt Widener
A giallo in ten tracks.

Happy to release this long-in-production project. Richard Ramirez (you all know who he is) created two longer tracks. Matt Widener (Cretin, Liberteer, ex-Exhumed) created the Scream For Your Killer theme for the first and last tracks. I contributed six tracks of screams.
This is a CD-R that comes in blu-ray packaging. It comes with a booklet, a vinyl sticker, and a "patch" (a piece of cloth with an image of the killer.) This release is limited to 26 copies.
$10 plus shipping ($5 US, $10 Canada, $15 the rest of the Earth).

More information, sample tracks, pics, and ordering information is over at Bandcamp: CLICK HERE

Thanks

I released a new cassette the other day.
Potioned is a team up between myself and Matt Widener (Cretin, County Medical Examiners, Liberteer, a bunch of Relapse bands) and is a more ambient, darker, mix of guitars and layers of screams, than my previous releases.

The cassette is a C36 and was professionally duplicated. It is limited to 50 copies. I'm charging $5+shipping.

The first ten orders will also receive a Potioned: Infinity CDR.

For a preview and to order click over over to Bandcamp: https://emersonmurray.bandcamp.com/

The cover and interior photos are my parents in 1966. The photos were taken for an article on the recently opened Church of Satan in San Francisco. I've never been able to find a copy of the article and don't know where it was published.

If you have any questions, let me know.
Thanks.

Thanks s.p.i.n.! I tried to keep it super simple and clean.
I plan on releasing projects by other folks, so, I figured I'd better get a little site for the label.
It's getting a good number of hits (for what it is), but I have to say Bandcamp is not pulling in very many listens or sales. Do people hate Bandcamp? Is it a bad idea to sell through there?
Like most, I'm stumbling around trying to figure it all out.
Thanks again.

I don't think so, I like bandcamp. Depends on what your selling.
There's more noise now than ever and it's all on bandcamp. It just takes time.
