Re: A Meatist Proposal.

"According to an estimate from 2011, there are 1.4 billion cattle in the world", says Wikipedia. What would happen to that 1.4 billion if people stopped consuming milk and beef? Re: Flangers, phasers, choruses for noise?

Cheap multi fx pedals are great, because their dumb ass algorithms tend to freak out in all sorts of hilarious ways. The trade-off is of course craploads of aliasing and generally messed up frequency spectrum. Which can be a bad thing or a good thing depending on your goals.

What is a vaginal pentagram? A pentagram made of vaginas? Or a pentagram-shaped vagina?

Re: Octagon Friday Forum: Noise

This panel will look at the notion of 'noise', either sonic or visual, as a strategy to challenge hegemonic norms. Presentations should ideally address one of the following questions: how do visual practitioners historically considered as 'others' use noise as a disruptive strategy to engage their ...

And to now say you only read one page on Hogan but then say I've read several books. But I wanted to spare you the trouble of buying one or getting it at the library. So I looked up a concise overview in open access and linked to it. I was trying to be nice and make things more convenient for you, ...
