Re: 0-coast

This and the Morphagene are capable of some sexy things. If I could afford to start off with modular then one of these bad boys would be on the list.

For now I'll keep scouring reverb / eBay for cheap shitty pedals

Re: coconut oil

I use it for frying banana pancakes for breakfast.

(3 eggs + 3 bananas or thereabouts, whisked up, add in some sultana's if you are feeling adventurous, shallow fry until nicely browned and flip over)

Tasty AF

Soloman Tump - The Litigation Extension EP

So I got bored of just mixing techno records together and I've combined it with my fascination with noise music. What you have here is me sampling various records (hopefully not too noticable, its not been pulled from soundcloud yet) and whisking it up with my noise machines. I split it up into 4 tr...

Aces. Would buy the CD straight away but the crazy international carriage charge is a bit much.

Re: Oxford noise?

I've met Lee Riley at a couple of his gigs and he makes great sound.

Anyone else in the area? Would love to put a gig together or organise a jam session at least.

Re: Current fleeting interests

The music itself seemed to fit well, especially if you listen to the lyrics. it was just the way they got introduced by an MC as "the nine inch nails" and it looked like Reznor was miming. No other band in the series got an introduction so far, and as far as I could tell nobody else was miming.

Re: Current fleeting interests

I am borderline obsessive about the new Twin Peaks series, episode 8 was full on mental. Glad Lynch has (obviously) been given free reign on this. The sound design and music placement is lovely throughout, even though the inclusion of NIN was a bit weird.

Re: Research question for the masses. Why do you listen to noise?

Noise music helps to cleanse my brain of other music, and helps to inspire me to make my own noises.

Just stream it?
Which opens it up to the world for sure, but I like the idea that only people at the gig get to access the files.

Re: Your recent purchases:

I bought a boss RC3 looper pedal. Only catch so far is that you have to be real careful setting the record volume (the knob is very small) otherwise stuff ends up getting louder real quickly and drowns everything else out. Otherwise, it does exactly what it says in the tin. Overdubbing current playi...
