Uh,..yeah that's a pretty expensive bit of stuff to get if you poor. Also I'm pretty sure she probably uses an SP-404,303,202..or something. You'll need a sampler for that kind of stuff. I've got a Korg MS-20 mini,SP-404,and some effects now and that's a great set up. You don't need all of what Puce...

I've seen her live a few times.

From what I saw, she used a:
Korg MS-20
Roland R-8
Doepfer Dark Energy
Some Boss Digital Delay
An old blue Ibanez pedal
Boss Metal Zone
Mixer

Fuck flangers. It's pitchshift/Various crappy delays/Ring Mod alone are worth the ride. I think it's awesome for noise, but only for use at home (..studio, haha). Live, it's just too flimsy and unreliable. . I like the ring mods, pitch shifters and the metal distortion on my voice . What I ment was ...

ive got a 505 ii and theres some decent effects but not very tweakable. I mainly use it for my voice. Its got some decent distortions, ring mod, pitch shifter.. all very average sounding, not as good as like a kaoss pad or something and if you wanna be twisting pedal knobs to make noise, this isnt for y...

I had seen Gummo before ever hearing Brighter Death Now and I owned the soundtrack(which doesn't have "Little Baby" on it).

I listened to Innerwar about a year ago and immediately thought of Gummo. Wonder why he wasn't credited..

I really need to get one of those tape players for the blind...tone and speed control, and multiple outs..

Mhm. I think they're okay but most of the noise bands in the area are a little too hipster and happy for my taste. They're kind of like that but I still like them.

Also most of them will end up buying Korg Volcas and Teenage Engineering POs and end up I gotta Volca Keys and its sick if you make sub-bass drum kind of sounds, distort it to shit, then lower the sample rate. I wouldn't ever dare touch the sequencer. That said there's this band called Mutwawa near ...

It just struck me as odd that I've seen at least three Pharmakon threads, spearheaded by a user I am not immediately familiar with. The way my mind works, I superimposed that over a promotional tactic.. but I'm a confirmed paranoid. :gape: Yeah, theres one on here, one on special interest, and on man...

I generally dont care about the gear a noise/industrial artist uses. well sometimes I really like the MS sounds on those German recordings but dont care about specifics like whatever pedals they use. Ive kind of learned that the less new stuff you get the less stuff you have to learn how to use so y...

at about $400 the bass station 2 is a little outside your pricerange but for the price is my favorite of the current crop of affordable monosynths... really great sounding synth I was actually referring to the first bass station. Sounds pretty agressive from what ive heard( has the same filter as a...

Yeah personally I don't think pharmakon is good enough to model after :D she had a really powerful performance when I saw her but I don't think the music is very powerful or does what its trying to a lot of the time. It lacks that cold, deathy feel of stuff like Brighter Death Now. Maybe its just me....

Damn, the Shruthi does sound, and look pretty cool .. especially that Polivoks one. For something like that tho, I was more keen on something like this: https://www.etsy.com/au/listing/189512134/maximal-drone?ref=related-3 When I have the monies for it, of course. Bass Station I sounds pretty cool ...

Been doing some reading up on the Arturia, I think I can get one in my price range and I'm pretty happy with what it can do, although any MIDI samples would have to come in externally ... that sort of thing will be way off for a while yet but, you know ... just thinking forwards here. Yeah the brut...

The Microsampler is a SAMPLER, not a synth. It may have had a few Kaossilator type sounds built in, but I don't know. For synth in that price range for noise and shit, I'd say(if you can find them for this, they mostly are in the price range): MI Shruthi Skychord Utopia Microbrute Monotribe Some Sir...
