Niice :)

everyone with any interest in synthesis should read the Arp 2600 Owner’s Manual even if they never actually use one :D

Selling some pedals, keyboards, old computers + consoles etc

Been hoarding too much so I need to get rid of stuff I don't use to make the time/space for the things I do, hence selling all sorts of good stuff :) https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/timdrage/m.html At the moment there's ZOOM BFX-708, Joyo High Gain Distortion, Behringer Chorus Space CC300 , Casio SK-200,...

Re: Avoiding gear loss

Is it not very easy to blow my speakers up? Yes, it is not very easy. In my 18 years of feedback and clipping I have destroyed my gear ONLY by deliberately throwing it across the room or messing up while circuitbending it. If you are feeding the mixer into a PA or hi-fi amp just make sure the amp i...

Re: Flangers, phasers, choruses for noise?

Are they useless and just waste of money for noise, or they can make your sound unique?
Yes.

Re: Best octave fuzz for noise

I'm a proponent of doing it yourself, and a fuzz is the easiest pedal to make. Click here for a VERY simple fuzz. These are great, I must build more. I had pretty good results even with almost random component values :D like just selecting the weirdest-looking diodes i had lying around. I built a p...

Re: Best octave fuzz for noise

Danelectro Black Liquorice / Black Paisley combine metal distortion and octave down and are amazing (tho a bit one-trick) for noise.

I have 3 of the BL, aiming to get a couple more and one of these pedal cases for the perfect setup :D

Re: Best octave fuzz for noise

Just bought Vox Trike fuzz. Now it's my favourite pedal. Forget about Blue boxes and other "boxes". It fucks up sound so bad, you don't need any other pedals. In feedback loops it shines. Its strange that not so many people here know about it. Recommendation seconded, it's great. Plus I just discov...

Re: BEHRINGER

Does anyone notice any problems with the VD400? Does it cut out at the end of a pedal chain? Are you using batteries? In my experience all Behringer pedals with digital fx like delay/echo/pitch etc only work at all reliably off a 9v power supply despite the fact that they allegedly take batteries.

Re: What to look for in a mixer?

More than 1 FX send (aka aux send, monitor send etc) is a great bonus for feedback-loop-based noise
