Re: Audio Electronic Circuit Schematics

I get that you're excited about modifying your DR-55, but does that REALLY warrant posting text grab after text grab from an old mail group?

Re: DOD BUZZBOX

AFAIK Harman has given the axe to the DOD subset of Digitech, so I'd guess this sort of petition will fall on deaf ears.

Re: Post expensive gear you want to buy

I want to buy a spectrum analyzer, a 36 to 48 inch box/pan brake (preferably mid century steel), and a Quonset hut kit.

Another Eventide H-3000 would be nice, so I can run some of the intensive monophonic patches in stereo.

in my experience the radio picked up by fuzz pedals always seems to be Christian radio for some reason
Same. I use that as inspiration to shield RF at all costs.

Re: 2 Feedback Loop questions

I feel obligated to maintain my stick in the mud status and mention that the Y cable approach does not always work. Feel free to ridicule my EE chops, but I have builds that object to having their multiple outputs strapped directly into each other while they operate as designed with summing resistor...

Re: 2 Feedback Loop questions

A small resistive mixer should work fine, you'll probably want to run your guitar through some pedal that provides enough boost so you're in in the same general range as the feedback loop.

Re: 2 Feedback Loop questions

Anything with multiple inputs and a single output (like a mixer) can integrate a guitar into a loop. You were probably hearing AM radio from the fuzz. It's not uncommon to pick up radio with high gain circuits. It also may not have been too noisy because a lot of fuzz circuits invert the signal from...

The video deffintitly makes it better than it is.
Thanks! It is what it is. The signal was originally delivered over a large sound system in a nice big room, and the translation to home systems is somewhat lossy, unless set to ridiculous volumes ;)

Re: COntact mics

I have a Crank SP, nice and compact little microphone. I used it as some source on this (terrible quality) demo, but demonstrating the microphone was not my intent.
