Re: Show us yr DIY!

Love it! Echoing the rice paper sentiment. (still need to find a better method for mounting tiny pcbs than simply letting them hang) Do you have any mounting points to work with? I've seen this done: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_6aftxUZ9Mn4/TQT1eradi6I/AAAAAAAAAWo/4CQqyIwwkRc/s1600/sruti-PCBmount.JPG W...

your uneducated and snarky attitude dont change the fact that he has plenty of coin See, there's the funny bit. I'm under the firm belief that his coffers are the result of a rolling con, and if he had to actually honestly business himself out of any predicament he'd fail miserably. But I know bett...

Re: Show us yr DIY!

Thanks for the kind words! I'd pick your brain more if I didn't think I'd be a pain in the arse. I love trying to help out, so don't hesitate to badger me on stuff. We're on the internet, so it's easy enough for me to reroute focus on something else if I need to (time delay in response, etc.). I don...

Re: Show us yr DIY!

I know you aren't supposed to compare yourself against other people, but Croch's solder wizardy and engineering prowess makes me feel worthless every time. Please don't feel worthless! (this forum needs the hug emoji) I do apologize for that side effect (I am aware, and a similar social function is...

Yes! Keep it up. Power tools are excellent investments. Here's a pass at some recent work of my own: http://crochambeau.blogspot.com/ TL;DR version: https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-AHTvJoUMbrc/WlqvEjMlCFI/AAAAAAAAEOs/9MMIE0eGVQ45bYsEIJy7rJsueiJ8bQRQwCLcBGAs/s1600/37_RMA130_exterior.JPG https://2.bp.blogs...

Submissions for this should be via short wave radio transmission.

Re: On-the-fly Tuner Pedal?

Sorry to hijack this thread, but I've had a tuner-related question for a while now: Does anyone make a tuner that can record custom, even out-of-tune tunings? Suppose you randomly tuned to something that you want to remember for later. With this theoretical device, you could play each string to rec...

Is there a way to work around this, like using a splitter?
Yes.

Re: Noise with pedals + mixer ?

To my knowledge I have killed exactly two things due to line level signal amplitude (please note, I use oscillators that are capable of laughably high output levels), one of which is a mixer. I've taken out one channel in an IRP Voicematic with a signal spike. My money is on having popped a FET in t...

Re: Best octave fuzz for noise

When you say octave, are you meaning UP or DOWN?

I've been having fun with the Stone Splitter prototypes, but they divide down.

Re: BEHRINGER

The FX600 Digital Multi-FX - at the end of a chain the blue effect light reverses, i.e. when on it will pass a dry signal, when off it will effect the signal- depending on the input level I suppose, as it will also flash on and off at times unpredictably. I guess that's a feature? I wonder if poor ...

Re: Noise with pedals + mixer ?

Keep your output volume low. 2g3rjapo.jpg In addition to this, you can send a stereo output from the two jacks labeled "CTRL ROOM OUT", feed that through either 1) a stereo chain that can return to channel 3/4 or 5/6, or 2) two additional monophonic loops that would benefit from returning to a mono...

Re: BEHRINGER

That could very well be the reason too. all I know is anytime I try to put it in an fx Loop, it shuts off after increasing FX control or volume too much, so I'm inclined to believe Joe's Theory more. Does it still pass sound? I too am curious about which circuits exhibit this behavior; and if the u...
