Some of those CB mics want a voltage across the element, others can be punched right into a signal path with a simple change of connector.
Carbon granules or condenser?

What is the best way to use a carbon granule element, polarizing voltage and a blocking cap?

Re: CB (HAM) Radio in noise setup??

With older equipment you don't even need the transmitter. Hearing aids and stuff have / had a T setting for telephone, where they would pickup the speakers magnetism rather than the sound it made. PA companies developed T-Loop systems, which are basically just a power amp, and a coil of wire, you ru...

Re: Rochambeau Musical Apparatus

But just the access helps. I find myself way slowed down by not having the same access to components as I used to. The whole compiling a list of parts, figuring out where to order them etc. just kills motivation.

Try it, worst that can hap...

Another affordable option is Axoloti.
Have you done anything with that? I keep meaning to get one to play with, but things and stuff and all.

Re: BEHRINGER

Can we talk about gear without politicizing it? It is possible, you know. These are fucking tools. You either buy tools that break and are difficult to fix, buy tools that break and are easy to repair, buy tools that do not break (hahaha, good luck with that one), build your own tools, or live with...
