Stimulator
Had to ask, didn't look like a custom decal but you never know.

I'm with joe: I can only guess at what those things are, let alone what they sound like.

Oh, there's no fight here. Didn't mean for it to come off that way, at any rate. I think he just wants to catch up now that I'm not as much of an asshole as I was years ago.

Re: Noise Machines, Devices & Makers.

I was not aware (or maybe I was aware and forgot) you didn't have any recordings in the first place. I assumed you were recording this whole time and were simply never pleased enough with your results to share them... that could be called ironic as years after this post, I myself am not satisfied wi...

Re: Show us yr DIY!

Might scrap the switch and pot in favor for a dpdt arcade button, like an old intercom design.

Re: Show us yr DIY!

Maybe use a cheap lightswitch dimmer in place off pot? Probably easier than building a circuit yourself. Good idea, but I'll probably shelve this one away so the point is moot. No sense investing more $ in a one-trick pony. PS doesn't phone stuff run on DC 24-48V Probably, but I don't have a bench ...

Re: Show us yr DIY!

phone bell 120vac (111217).JPG On the fence about this one. It's a bell ripped from a rotary phone and put in a box with a contact mic. Footswitch alternates between contact mic recording bell (with pot controlling voltage/current through bell) and bypass with no power to bell. Might remove pot as ...

Re: wooden shaker boxes?

I had an idea once to create an album using only wood and wood instruments, without by processing or effects, so in essence it'd be a hnw of trees falling, lumber work, clackers etc.

The cover would be a defaced copy of one of The Carpenters' LPs

Re: post dream gear

Even better: combine Buzz and Meat boxes into one unit, call it the Cone Shredder per MKULTRA's suggestion .

That or release the schematics.

Re: Your recent purchases:

Part of the haul this weekend from two swap meets, one of them I only found out about a day or two prior: gear.jpg Swap 1: The car show was mostly for stocking up on useful utilities e.g. shrink tubing, which isn't pictured, and the springs which were a nice surprise. Also not pictured: lots of litt...
